If I set the account to not cache as suggested it will take longer to retrieve email. She is always too busy to help and the process takes so long due to how much email is there. So it seems she has just made the matter worse. I checked with her a few hours later and she said it never disappeared so she went into the settings and added the mailbox in the advanced area again and then set the mailbox to cache for 2 years :( I then left her with it expecting the mailbox to disappear from her outlook or perhaps if lucky the remove option to work. She went to File, account settings, account settings, change, more settings, advanced and removed the mailbox, the mailbox didnt disappear, I told her to wait a while and then to try right click and remove if it didnt disappear (had a feeling that wouldnt work though as the other method is normally needed) I told her to remove the account and re add it. Thanks for this suggestion, this is proving fairly difficult, mainly due to the enormous amount of email she has in her outlook and due to the person being difficult.
